Sleeps 10/12
A fabulous ‘original’ chalet with the most sublime uninterrupted views,
if you are looking for a traditional alpine chalet this is not for you!
This is a very special architect-designed chalet built in the 1960’s,
with a beautifully conserved interior.
Situated about 800m from the centre of the resort (bus stop 100m from the door) or conditions permitting 50m from the piste leading down to Huez with a connecting lift up to the main area.
Chalet Oursine sleeps a maximum of 12 people (although more comfortably 10) with 4 ‘traditional’ bedrooms and 1 less ‘traditional’. It lends itself to large family holidays.
The configurations of the bedrooms are as follows :
1 double with a large en-suite bathroom with spa bath
1 twin/double with adjacent bathroom
1 twin
1 double and bunk beds with
en-suite bathroom
The last bedroom is in the living room – there is a system of a folding wall which can be closed completly at night to allow the guests in this area total privacy. There is a double bed which folds into the wall to allow the area to be used during the day. There is a bathroom on the landing and separate loo which can be used by those sleeping in the living area.
Chalet Oursine is a really ‘fun’ chalet with a great atmosphere, the vast living room has a central fireplace and lends itself to long after-dinner discussions! The views are stunning and the clear evenings its easy to spot shooting stars! The balcony spans the property (about 20 metres long) plus the new sun terrace. There are televisions in each of the bedrooms.
Other Equipment :
DVD player
Computer and access to the internet
Music system
Games and books
Huge Barbeque and garden furniture
Chalet Oursine has a small garden area and is very close to a little used piste so children have a large area to play in within view from the balcony.
Prices from 3500 € to 4000 €
